Prokaryotic cells

Prokaryotic cells: are characterized by the absence of a membrane-bound nucleus and organelles. They typically have a single circular DNA molecule located in the nucleoid region, and their structure is supported by a rigid cell wall. Prokaryotes are classified into two domains: Archaea, which includes organisms that thrive in extreme environments, and Bacteria, which encompasses a wide range of organisms found in various habitats.
