Smooth endoplasmic reticulum

The smooth endoplasmic reticulum (sER): is a part or region that is identified by its tube-like shape and generally missing ribosomes. It is found in eukaryotic cells and is linked to the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, calcium concentration modulation, and drug detoxification.
